Fabulous Screwball Shakers

If you're not yet familiar with Berryware's Screwball Salt and Pepper Shakers, you're in for a surprise. They are constructed in a unique one-piece ceramic form which allows for them to "magically" sprinkle seasonings from the bottom without accidental spilling on the table. To use, just shake up and down to get the salt or pepper slightly airborne inside the shaker. Because of its unique design, passing the shaker from person to person or shaking it from side to side won't release any salt or pepper. Only a deliberate up-and-down shake will dispense the seasonings. It's astonishing - and fun! And they're very simple to fill. Just turn the shaker upside down and fill the conical well with salt or finely ground pepper. Then while upside down, tap the shaker gently against the palm of your hand until the well is empty. Repeat once or twice and you're done!
